One of the finest places on the entire planet is the Carolina Mountains. Why? Because it is unspoiled, with clean air and water, with temperatures that are temperate (not scalding hot in summer and freezing cold in winter). There is more information on this subject on the page entitled “About the Area”.
Although most of us will agree that the past couple of years were not good for sellers in WNC Property, it is my belief that we have turned the corner and are on our way to recovery. The sale of North Carolina homes and land have increased dramatically this year. In fact, in the period from May through September, 2009, 125 properties have closed. In the areas of Cashiers, Highlands, Lake Toxaway, Sapphire, and Lake Glenville, that really says something. The point of this is that old, tired inventory is now moving and it will NOT be long before that inventory is completely turned at this rate. When we reach that point with WNC Homes and Land, we will see prices again rising, not “Fire Sale” pricing that some people are currently taking advantage of.
Due to the beauty of the area, and the current pricing in our wonderful mountains, Your real estate investment will most likely at least retain (if not increase) its value, and you will have taken advantage of the most cost efficient way to enjoy a mountain retreat, lakefront home, or river or waterfall home! The inventory we have right now is not going to last forever, remember. Our Plateau of Cashiers, Highlands, Lake Toxaway, Lake Glenville, Sapphire is limited to a relatively small area. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!
Do yourself and your family a favor…consider purchasing your Carolina Mountain Home now, while selection is at its peak!
