Snowbird is the term used to describe those who come around these parts during the spring and summer and then they go away down south for the winter. The area known as Snowbird is located just about equidistant between Pine Creek Rd. and Cullowhee Mountain Rd. A perfect “roost” for the summer months, when it’s really hot in the south!
